Automated dispensing of a wide variety of materials - ATN and MUSASHI make it possible.
In many manufacturing processes, it is necessary to meter the smallest quantities of the most diverse materials with high precision.
For this purpose, the Japanese dispensing specialist MUSASHI Engineering (MUSASHI) offers its extensive product range.
With its intelligent and patented pressure-time dispensing systems and unique jet dispensing technology, MUSASHI is the global technology leader in the field of
dispensing technology. The extensive product range offers solutions for a variety of different materials.
The following dispenser types are available:
Pressure-time dispenser (AirPulse dispenser)
Jet-Dispenser
Volume-Dispenser
Dispensing valves
As a manufacturer of precision dispensing systems, MUSASHI also offers a suitable cartridge and dispensing needle system. MUSASHI's accessories are designed to be
conceptual and variable, enabling high precision dispensing results.
Pressure-time Dispenser (AirPulse Dispenser)
One of the most universal and widely used dispensing principles is the pressure-time system. Here, the material to be dispensed is fed in cartridges. The material is
dispensed by a pressure pulse on the material surface inside the cartridge. The air presses on the material and forces it through the metering needle to the metering
point. For this purpose, an electropneumatic valve "switches through" the compressed air applied from outside for a short period of time.
Another process is jetting. The material to be metered is pressed into the metering chamber with uniform pressure. There, a moving piston accelerates
accelerates the paste and flings the material through the nozzle onto the substrate , similar to an inkjet printer. Depending on the material to be
material to be dispensed can be several millimeters.
Since no metering needles are used, the process is robust against height tolerances. The metered quantity is defined solely by the metering chamber, the mechanical piston stroke to be
stroke to be mechanically adjusted and the number of dots to be dispensed and is therefore precise and reproducible.
Materials with non-constant viscosity are an extreme challenge for dispensing systems. There are numerous applications to which this applies. With the MPP1 and
MPP3 volumetric dispensing systems, these media can also be dosed reliably and precisely.
There is a wide range of 2K adhesives. For high-precision applications, the two components are premixed externally (pre-mix) and then processed within the pot life.
No-mix adhesives and systems with activator can be dispensed with jet dispensers.

Dispensing in medical technology and biotechnology
High precision dosing technology is used for pharmaceutical products and cosmetics as well as in all areas dealing with liquids in biotechnology, analytics and other
industries. MUSASHI manufactures automatic dispensing equipment needed in a wide range of production and
research areas.
MUSASHI, as a manufacturer of precision dispensing systems, also offers a matching cartridge and dispensing needle system. MUSASHI's accessories are designed to
be both conceptual and variable, enabling consistently high precision dispensing results.
